Cuppa.

by cryxstals1 @ 2008-10-10 - 13:00:58

:D They are saying that most of us only drink about three cups of tea a day, whoops! i must be a tea and coffee junky then haha.

I lose count how many i drink in a day, mostly tea. I love my cuppa. First thing two coffees, then do a bit, and another cuppa, make one to drink when on computor.

Take a break from computor, have another cuppa. Do some shopping come back, have another cuppa, have a chat and another cuppa. Watch tv with another cuppa.

They will probably say ban tea now its bad for us, afterall every thing else is. Tea is ok this week anyway.

Whats the point.

Colledge-Uni-, Is there any difference any more, colledges or many of them are now called universitys. Any one could go to colledge, any one who wanted to do a day course or evening course on a choice of subjects.

Town-City,many towns are now citys, why so many unecersary changes. Change is fine if its for the good but today there are changes that are unecersary.

Bed bugs.

by cryxstals1 @ 2008-10-08 - 13:17:06

How we could drive ourselves crazy if we stop to think of bed bugs, horrible little creatures like little gremlins under a microscope, nipping at us and filling our beds with there you know what.

Change the bed clothes and in they pop into your nice clean sheets and all those flakes of old skin with them, they feed on whilst you sleep.huck!

Well you watch those horror movies with vampires sucking blood these things are eating flakes of skin, i know it some how does not have the same impact does it,but never mind eh.

No No day.

:**: I am gonna be honist and say that i am feeling rough. I never sleep very well, insomnia is my middle name and just lately as been as bad as ever.

I fall asleep and wake up suddenly too hot, throw of the clothes, and then i am cold. Fall asleep then some little sound wakes me. Every night the same. Hot,cold, noise,i put the fan on and off through the night, six 0clock loose the dog out, back to bed,up again at seven for a pee.

Yes i have
tried it allthe lavender oil,0lbas oil. Sleeping pills just make me feel like s--t next day so i will not take them.

Iam often kept awake with neck pain because i have arthritus in my neck i have alsorts of pillows for my neck that some times help ease it and some times do not.

Ah well a cuppa might help,a nice milky sweet cup of coffee, cheers!

They do understand.

by cryxstals1 @ 2008-10-07 - 13:15:40

My little dog waits for the postman every day and brings the post to me for payment of a treat. In the evening he waits for the paper boy with the evening paper for another treat, small as he is he carrys these things to me.

He hears some thing he lets me know. The phone in another room i do not always hear but he does and he lets me know by barking and going round in circles, he as not been trained to do this he just does.

Any one who wonders why we love our dogs more than many humans should look harder and they would see why. Animals are responsive to kindness and reward, they love us for who we are, they are forgiving, they do not question us or judge us.

When i was ill hurt or upset and i had many dogs i would go to my dogs and sit with them. I found great comfort with them,i could cry and they would lick my tears away so lovingly and remove all the anger i felt, then i could smarten up and face the world again.

They understood i was unhappy and they knew they had the key to make me better that no human had. This is why when we lose them it breaks our hearts and causes us so much pain that only a real dog lover could ever explain.

We should talk to them more they do understand.

Maybe the reason.

by cryxstals1 @ 2008-10-06 - 13:12:02

I sympathise with the victims of crime, help is always there for the criminal or so it seems, but why is the sympathy with the criminal?,why do they get all the help and the victim is often struggling to get on with there life with little help available to them.

Maybe the reason the criminal is sympathised with and helped is because people feel they are misguided people lacking in the ability to behave in a normol way.

It is only when some criminals sit down and listen to how the victim feels they realize what they have done. They are incapable of being able to feel for other people, they are insensitive to others. They are smart enough to work out how to rob somebody and try to get away, save there own skin, but who else gets hurt they are immune to they feel nothing, there is some thing lacking in there character. Maybe this is the reason.

Good luck all.

It is the great north run today. No one can really say they can not do anything when they see some of these people making such an effort to help others, many who  have disabilitys of there own.

It is occasions like this that draw our attention to some wonderful people that we would otherwise never hear of. People who have lost a loved one to cancer, who have suffered  through illness, accident, whatever, are out there running to make things better for others.

God bless every one of them and good luck.

prescription drugs.

by cryxstals1 @ 2008-10-04 - 11:03:36

How many people i wonder are taking prescription drugs they do not really need. At a point in my life i was taking anti depressants and it went on for years, any Doc would give them me without question, i was hooked but i did not know until i ran out of them and turned the place upside down trying to find just one or two to see me through another day.

I did not want to come of them i thought they made life barable but infact they were destroying my life, i was having rages and my brain was fuddled. Finally they were taken of me and i went through terrible shaking and sweating and pain, then reality hit, it wasnt good at first, but then i discovered the good side,i actually saw a flower for the first time and heard a bird sing, these things had gone unnoticed for years.

Now docs have trouble getting me to take tablets for anything. I suffer pain rather than take anything. I have seen others turn into a junkys taking prescription drugs, increasing the amount of pain killers they take until they are of the planet.

Pain killers eventually do not work so you must take more, with every drug there is side effects, some times you are not aware of,others are quite dramatic and can be very unpleasant and you think its part of your illness but its the drugs, even your doc does not know what is wrong with you they think your a head case so you need more drugs,in some cases they do test after test to find nothing wrong, its again the drugs.

volunteer.

Dont blame the kids.

by cryxstals1 @ 2008-10-03 - 12:13:31

How can we expect kids to behave responsible when harf the adults do not. My grandson started colledge last year he is seventeen he was doing well covering all types of electrical engineering to see which side of it he wanted to work on most.

Then there was a fire and all his paper work was lost before he could even get into practice some of it. Then the teacher was not turning up harf the time, and it was costing £20 per week for him to get there by bus, plus the petrol money to take him to the bus which was three miles away, as they live in the countryside.

So my daughter was paying for him to turn up at colledge for nothing. Now she says he doesnt want to get out of bed in the morning the kids depressed, who can blame him. A better example than this should be shown to kids if we want good results.

Where are all the good devoted teachers, there are a few but not enough. Being university educated is not the beggining and end of all, careing for the kids you teach is probably equally as important.
