Give a dog a bad name.

All dogs and their owners should be at Teds whineBar forum
www.tedswhinebar.com.

This site address was on my blog so i decided to pay it a visit, it is a nice site for dog lovers who i think might get some help with training there dogs. Also its nice for dog lovers to come together on the net.

I myself bred and owned terriers, borders, and jack russells, for twenty years,i also showed them. Previous to that i had three german shepherd dogs, i fell in love with these dogs when i trained in kennel management many years ago and i hate to hear people say they are monstors, they are loyal and one of the most faithful dogs.

My daughter as a shepherd now and she as had her since she was a pup and her little boy was about two years old and my grandson would stamp on her paws (i do not recomend it)and she never attempted to bite him instead she would cry. She is now twelve years old.

Take one of these dogs to a vet and many are afraid to deal with them, its time to clear there name, reared properly and looked after they can be as safe as any other dog, breeding is important, and handling.

It is a great shame that people are afraid of them - they are lovely intelligent dogs. No dog starts out vicious - like children, they learn their bad ways from bad owners (or other badly behaved dogs).

Quite right Ellie the macho thing as destroyed a lot of the big dog breeds reputation, some useing dogs in the past to make themselves look tough.
Some of the guys use terriers in the same way, these tough little characters are abused by some to make themselves look tough, giving the terrier who is admirable in character and so intelligent a bad reputation.
